New research project on large-scale RINA experimentation funded by the European Commission
We welcome the ARCFIRE project to the happy RINA research and development family! The European Commission, under its H2020 program, has funded the ARCFIRE consortium to perform large-scale RINA experimentation activities leveraging the EC's FIRE+ experimental infrastructures. The project has 6 partners: Ericsson, i2CAT, Nextworks, Telefonica, iMinds and Boston University; who whill work to experimentally demonstrate the RINA benefits at large scale running 4 big experiments: i) Management of multi-layer converged service provider networks; ii) Deploying resilient, virtualised services over heterogeneous physical media; iii) End-to-end service provisioning across multiple network service providers and iv) Studying the effects of (Distributed) Denial of Services (D)DoS attacks inside and over RINA networks.
